Greetings from the North
Hello, I am from the Northern portion of New York, along the St. Lawrence river. I joke that if Canada annexed my county the only difference would be the money (Theirs is way cooler anyway).
I have been known as the “The Gnome” since 2000. I competed in strength sports such as Highland Games and Strongman contests, still do a few Highland Games. Since my competition is often well over 6 feet and 280lbs, and I am 5’7” and around 210, I acquired the moniker TheGnome. Most people in that community don’t even know my birth name.
A few weeks ago I began receiving multiple messages from my friends with links to this community. I found that the belief system here pretty much fits in well with my own. Inclusion, tolerance, love of nature, so here I am.
Brief rundown, School Psychologist, married for 35 years, one son in Law School, and another in undergrad. If there is anything else you want to know, please go ahead and ask.
