A journey Southwest
I recently had the opportunity to leave Appalachia and visit Zion and Bryce NP as well as Valley of Fire SP. Seeing these rock formations and the colours was absolutely breathtaking. The way the plants found ways of growing even when no soil was seen was equally awesome. The power of the water to carve out this land was inspiring. Spiritually I learned that like water, if we remain stalwart and true to our paths then we can carve away obstacles and reveal the beauty of path and our journey. Like the plants, even if we tread on hard ground, if we plant our roots firmly and trust in the earth around us we can thrive even in the hardest of climates.
