Greetings and Gnome Blessings from Massachusetts!
Hello everyone! Greetings from currently-rainy Massachusetts! Trickster led me to the Church of Gnome on April Fools Day, and after thinking about it for a little bit, I decided to join. (The fact that gnomes kept showing up everywhere I went for several days seemed like a pretty clear sign that this was a Road I needed to travel down and see where it led.)
A little about me... I'm a wandering artist and storyteller in the Metrowest region of MA with a fondness for writing apocryphal folklore and looking for the places in the world where the proverbial veil is thin. I've never met a mushroom ring I didn't step into, just in case. Spiritually, I'm a follower of Trickster in Their capacity as questioner of rules, challenger of "This is just how things are", and seeker of whimsy. (They claimed me and I was too curious to argue. It makes for an interesting life sometimes.) Generally speaking, I'm an advocate of replacing lawns with native plants, community gardens, and solarpunk living.
Oh, yeah, I also live with my partner and our three voidlings, Oisín (bottom), Púca (top), and Bodach (left). Collectively they're known as the Disaster Cats due to their habits of making highly questionable life choices.
