New Gnomian in NM

Tl;dr I have apparently been a gnomian all my life.

A few months ago, I went and 3d printed a whole gnome army. Just for fun. I bought a gnome stand-up for the garden. I have a 10 inch glow in the dark gnome on the bookshelf. And then my wifes friend sent a link to this site.

She (the friend) sent it as a joke. Ha ha, gnome church, funny funny. And I thought it was funny too. I went and got ordained, registered my familiar. All animals already love me, I'm a Disney Princess.

There was some postal mayhem. My certificate and hat was delivered to the wrong address, They opened it, and apparently realized it was not theirs, and put it back in the mail. The mailperson didn't even take it back, just put it in the right box after that. So... Yay!

But now, I have the card, the certificate, the hat. And now.....

I read through the Gnomian Doctrine, and it lines up with everything I've lived by my whole life. Once I left the Baptist doctrine, I live by one rule. Be Kind. And that is the Gnomian doctrine. Accept others as they are, respect nature as it is, view the cosmos and accept our small part in it.

"Never be cowardly, never be cruel. But above all, never ever fail to be kind."

I hung up a pride flag this year. I wanted to for the past who knows how many years. But I did it this year. Because I'm gnomian? No? I did it before I found this. I did it just because I'm kind.

I'm proud to have found a group that embodies the values I've held for decades.

I'll post pics of my gnome army later. And my gnome patrons....
