Hello, Fellow Gnomians
I am a new convert to Gnomianism. I'm happy to be here! When I saw the advertisement on Facebook, it spoke to me. I enjoy gardening and its connection to the soil. It brings me happiness to raise vegetables and share them with my friends and family.
The other reason I was attracted is years ago, my partner's dad died. After spending the night with him in hospice, we were a little punchy. We went to breakfast with a group of friends and family and swapped stories about him. He enjoyed traveling, so it made us think of our Gnome friends in the travel industry embodied by the Roaming Gnome. When his cremains were returned to us, we placed some of them inside a gnome statue, and took him on trips with us. Here he is on the balcony of our cabin on a cruise ship.
