End of Life - Gnome Rituals?
Hello friends! My name is Alexis, and I am an End of Life Doula. My job is to help someone transition from this life into the next journey and comfort the family all the while. The principles and doctrines all align with things I see in my practice every day - but I dont see anything specific about end of life in the same way as for weddings! As folks are moving away from organized and traditional religious practices, I wanted to reach out and inquire about what the "Gnome" way would look like and how my ordination might interweave with my death practice? 😍

In the spirit of gnome, a burial style that has appealed to me is a tree burial or green/eco burials. If you're not familiar they plant a tree alongside a buried biodegradable pod containing the remains designed to promote the growth of the tree. It's also legal in most states to do on private property.
