Does anyone else get a little disgruntled when Gonks are mistaken for Gnomes?

I've been a Gnomean for, well a long time. Long before there was such a heavy socially exposed culture around them

It just often rubs me wrong when I see Such a twisted saturation of something that i took so personally and unusually unique to myself.

Gnomes rely so heavily on all their senses. They have no business hiding their eyes beneath their hats.
