Idagnome
Hi all! I'm Rob, and I've been vibing with gnomes for a while before I found the Church back in March. In my day-to-day I'm a scientist and educator, and have lived much of my professional life outdoors which has helped grow my deep love of and action for nature.
Spiritually I would describe myself as a Celtic Pagan Reconstructionist. I think that the Church's "big tent" philosophy allows for a legal framework to exist in, since CR doesn't really have an established structure (modern Druidry does but that's not my path) while focusing on the core tenants of community, respect for nature, and the importance of our animal companions.
I live in Idaho (Idagnome? Gnomeaho? The second sounds off-color), and not near Boise so similar-minded folks are not common here. Looking forward to when the Church is able to establish a framework for sanctioned events and such. It sounds like that's in the works, and there are events here (environmental fair, renn faire, etc.,) that would probably draw in interested folks.
