I love poetry, and I feel the need to write some now. So I’m going to write one about gnomes right here, right now.
Today I found a new gnome
To bring back to my garden’s home.
I set it atop a fancy stone
So he could observe all that goes on.
I’m sure he also heard my song
Encouraging my seedlings along
As I watered those by the pond. It doesn’t matter where I’ve been,
Or where I’m soon to go,
As long as I will always know
The peace of a garden gnome.
Lol, might be a bit simple, but for on the spot whimsy, I’m good with it!
