Since the founding of the Church of Gnome, I’ve personally used “Gnome Blessings” as my greeting and sign-off. You’ll see it at the end of my letters, emails, posts, and even in casual interactions with strangers. It’s a cheerful, lighthearted way to share a little spark of positivity and over time, it’s become something I deeply associate with the spirit of our community.
Interestingly, I’ve noticed some members have started using “Gnomean Blessings” as well, which I think is absolutely beautiful. It’s another way of expressing that same warmth, but with a slightly different flavor and I love that people are making it their own.
That said, there’s no pressure to use any specific greeting. One of the core values of the Church of Gnome is spiritual autonomy, and that includes how you choose to speak and connect. For me, “Gnome Blessings” has been a surprisingly effective way to brighten someone’s day. I’ve said it to hundreds of people, and almost every time I get a smile, a pause, and a genuine “I love that” or “That’s awesome.”
So whether it’s Gnome Blessings, Gnomean Blessings, or whatever greeting feels true to you, the key is sincerity. The magic isn’t in the words themselves, it’s in the intention behind them.
Gnome Blessings,
